The fixing device for laminar contact strips consists of a fixing ring which also acts as a spacer and guide for a guide ring. The guide is used as the counter contact bracket. The support is made with a pair of slots (2), engaging the sides of the fixing ring. The fixing ring (1) is made with a U-shaped cross section. One of the outer surfaces (6) of the U-shaped fixing ring tapers towards the axis (8) of the guide ring. The tapered surface (7) slopes at an angle of between 30 and 60 degrees. The fixing ring is made from a plastic material. The cross section of the slots in the contact support (3) is rectangular.
