The backpack has a baggage portion made of foldable, weatherproof material, and retained to the backpack body with the use of holders. A part of the baggage portion can be extended to provide a sleeping bag (1). A quick locking mechanism is used for setting the extended sleeping bag in predetermined range from the baggage portion.
