PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a camera, a mobile terminal search system therefor and a method thereof are provided to prevent such a criminal act that a photo is surreptitiously taken in a situation of invading privacy or in a place where information security is to be maintained and distributed without permission. CONSTITUTION: A user of a camera-equipped mobile terminal enters a search area such as a security gate(S10). A search device wirelessly transmits a search request signal to the mobile terminal(S20). The mobile terminal wirelessly transmits a camera existence notification signal in response to the search request signal(S30). The search device outputs camera existence display data corresponding to the camera existence notification signal, and a display device receives the camera existence display data and displays it as an alarm lamp, a sound or a text message through an LCD monitor(S40). An operator of the search device recognizes the alarming and takes necessary steps for the user having the camera-equipped mobile terminal(S50).
