PURPOSE: A brown gas generator is provided to improve the heating efficiency by forming a conical plate shaped heating element with a compressed fireproof material of silundum. CONSTITUTION: A supporting block(21) is installed centering a burner hole(11) on a base(12). A brown gas burner(10) is installed in the base. A conical plate shaped heating element(30) is installed on the supporting block in a multi-stage by groups(31,32,33,34,35) according to a size order of a center hole. A heating portion(20) forms a flame passage and a fire passage by installing heating elements(40) of a control plate and a cover plate(50) on the conical plate shaped heating element in a multi-stage. Thereby, the pre-energy by the irradiation of infrared rays is obtained.
