PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of a plasma display panel and its driving method are provided to control wall charges precisely formed in a discharge cell. CONSTITUTION: According to the apparatus for driving a plasma display panel where a capacitive load(Cp) is formed between at least two electrodes, the first main port of a transistor(SW) is connected to the capacitive load. A capacitor(Cd) is connected to the second main port of the transistor and receives charges from the capacitive load when the transistor is turned on. And the transistor is turned off when a fixed amount of charges are transported to the capacitor.
