DEVICE FOR COVERING AN X-AXIAL SLIDER IN A MACHINING CENTER TO SMOOTHLY CARRY A SPINDLE THROUGH AN X, AN Y AND A Z AXES

PURPOSE: A covering device of an x-axial slider in a machining center is provided to smoothly operate by leading a smooth guidance of an x-axial movement of a spindle and to have the excellent durability. CONSTITUTION: A guide rail(20) is arranged in the lower front of an x-axial slider(3) to move a spindle(1) toward an x-axial direction. A pair of X-axial slider covers(22A,22B) are formed in both sides of the x-axial slider and transformed to a curve by connecting with many strakes through hinges horizontally. The x-axial slider covers shields the left, the right and the side of the x-axial slider while moving toward the x-axial direction by guiding through the guide rail. Wires in the x-axial slider covers connect the upper parts and the lower parts of the x-axial slider cover to move in the same direction by interlocking the x-axial slider covers. Pulleys guide and support the reciprocation of the wire by forming in the x-axial slider covers. Thereby, the invasion of cutting chips is isolated and the smooth and stable movement is obtained without a breakage or a drop.
