PURPOSE: An electron gun of a color CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) is provided to be capable of obtaining homogeneous focus characteristics between red, green, and blue at the entire displaying monitor by controlling the size of electron beam passing holes. CONSTITUTION: An electron gun of a color CRT comprises a cathode for emitting red, green, and blue electron beams to a fluorescent screen, the first electrode for controlling the electron beam, the second, third, and fourth electrode regularly arranged from the first electrode, and a main electrode having a focus electrode and an anode spaced apart from the fourth electrode. A red, green, and blue electron beam passing hole are arranged at the main electrode to the in-line direction. Preferably, astigmatism voltage applied to the electron beam passing through the center passing hole, is lower than that applied to the electron beam passing through the side passing hole.
