PURPOSE: Provided is a protective pad worn by participants in many types of sporting events or other activities for protection against bodily injury which has an enhanced air-ventilating property and promotes user's physical activity performance, thereby allowing a user to move with alacrity, and enhancing a fitting feeling and user's comfort. CONSTITUTION: The protective pad comprises: a main body(100); a cushioning member made of sponge or foamed urethane; an outer layer(110) surrounding the cushioning member; and a plurality of cells(120) defined by sewing the outer layer(110) in a predetermined shape or pattern to divide the cushioning member provided within the outer layer(110) along sewing lines(122).
