PURPOSE: A corresponding apparatus and method in a communication network management system are provided to make network-related information of an NMS(Network Management System) correspond to network-related information managed by an NE(Network Element) within a short time and perform the corresponding operation without causing resource collision. CONSTITUTION: A network information collecting/providing unit(120) obtains port, exchange state and connection information, namely, information relevant to a network, from each NE(300), generates the obtained network-related information as a report in a text file format, and provides it one time. A corresponding unit(110) determines a type of each information object by parsing content of the provided report, and change, delete or add content of the information object in order to make the information managed by an NMS(200) correspond to information managed by the NE(300).
