PURPOSE: A liquid phase LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) injection fuel pump is provided to operate the fuel pump at high pressure, and to prevent gaseous phase fuel from being supplied to the fuel pump by opening the over pressure release valve at higher pressure. CONSTITUTION: A liquid phase LPG injection fuel pump(11) for compressing LPG is composed of a housing(13), a pump unit(19) arranged in the housing to form a fuel chamber upstream and to suck, compress and discharge fuel from the fuel chamber through a fuel intake port to a fuel discharge port, an actuator driving the pump unit, and an adaptor installed in the fuel chamber to cover the front of the fuel intake port partially and composed of a gaseous phase fuel passage penetrated vertically. The inverse L-shaped gaseous phase fuel passage is formed in the adaptor, and a recessed part is formed in the bottom of the adaptor to collect gaseous phase fuel.
