PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to improve an allowable pressure and the thermal conductivity, thereby realizing a heat exchanger appropriate for a low pressure part of a vapor-compression type freezer. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of refrigerant channels are included in flat tubes, wherein a refrigerant of a low pressure passes in the refrigerant channels. An inner column is installed between the refrigerant channels. When tension strength of a material forming the tube is defined as S£N/mm¬2|, a standard of the channel approximately horizontal to a main axis direction of the tube is defined as Wp£mm|, and the thickness of the column approximately horizontal to the main axis direction of the tube is defined as Ti£mm|, Ti satisfies the following expression: Ti is between £447*Wp/{10¬(1.54*log10S)}-533/{10¬(1.98 x log10S)}| and £447*Wp/{10¬(1.54*log10S)}-533/{10¬(1.98*log10S)}|*2.3.
