PURPOSE: A training system for brain training and speed-reading and a speed-reading study method are provided to promote attention and concentration by performing a speed-reading process based on a brain training process. CONSTITUTION: A brain wave sensor(17) is used for sensing brain waves. A storage unit(14) stores various brain training programs for performing brain training processes and various speed-reading programs for performing speed-reading processes. A setup input key(12) is used for setting an on/off operation, a starting/ending point of the brain training process and the speed-reading process, details of the brain training process and the speed-reading process, a pause period, and a speed-reading training period. A timer(13) is used for controlling the training period. An LCD(15) is used for displaying each state of the brain training process and the speed-reading process. A control unit(11) controls the LCD and the storage unit to execute the brain training programs and the speed-reading programs.
