PURPOSE: A display device is provided to simplify the configuration of a driver circuit arranged surrounding a pixel region to reduce the frame area of a display panel by installing a digital-analog converter in each pixel. CONSTITUTION: A display device includes a plurality of pixels(GS1,GS2). Each of the pixels includes a digital-analog converter for converting a digital display signal having a plurality of bits into an analog display signal, and a pixel electrode(1) receiving the analog display signal. The digital-analog converter includes the first and second capacitors(C1,C2), and the first and second switches. A common voltage is applied to one terminal of each of the first and second capacitors. The first switch switches the digital display signal to apply the digital display signal to the other terminal of the first capacitor. The second switch connects the other terminal of the first capacitor to the other terminal of the second capacitor. The analog display signal is output from the other terminal of the second capacitor.
