PURPOSE: Provided is a method for forming thick double binding coatings to protect the outer surface PC strand without reducing the flexibility and the strength of the adhesion to concrete in special structure. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of uncoiling pc strand; pretreating for adjusting the sunstrate by uncoiling the laterial wire loosely from the core wire; the first coating comprising twisting the laterial wire loosely to the core wire, applying coating of synthetic resin powder onto the surface except for the spiral groove by the twisting, and heating, attaching and cooling the resultant to forming resin coating only onto the surface; the second coating comprising uncoiling the laterial wire loosely from the core wire, passing it through core wire adjustment means, applying coating of synthetic resin powder on the periphery of each of the laterial wire and the core wire, heating for uniform attachment, and cooling the resultant to provide partial double coating in the laterial wire; and twisting the laterial wire back to the core wire to the initial state.
