SHEET MATERIAL-SENSING DEVICE OF CONVEYOR BELT, SENSING EXISTENCE OF SEAT MATERIAL MOVING ON CONVEYOR BELT

PURPOSE: A sheet material-sensing device of a conveyor belt is provided to exactly sense entry of a sheet material and to improve reliability of work, by removing obstacles like self-vertical vibration of the working conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION: A sheet material-sensing device of a conveyor belt senses the existence of a sheet material carried on the conveyor belt. In the sheet material-sensing device, a sensor plate(6) having a light-emitting element(5) is installed to a fixed plate(4) having a light-receiving element, with a gap, on the top side of the conveyor belt and is connected via a return spring(7). A roller plate(9) is attached to the lower end of the sensor plate by fixing bolts(8). The roller plate is connected to the fixed plate on a hinge shaft(10). A saw tooth-prominent part(11) is arranged to the lower side of the roller plate. An inner ring roller(14) covered with an outer ring roller(13) of a roller part(12) has a saw tooth-depressed part(15) engaging with the saw tooth-prominent part of the roller plate by external force.
