PURPOSE: An air sensing system for an indoor device for an air conditioner is provided to improve performance of the air conditioner according to a room environment by detecting temperature, humidity, and the amount of dust and gas in a condition same as the room. CONSTITUTION: An air sensing system(10) for an indoor device for an air conditioner is composed of a body(15) disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the indoor device of the air conditioner and formed with an intake port(16) and a discharge port(17) at both sides to flow the air; an air suction fan(11) disposed at the intake port of the body together with the motor to suck the air into the body; and a sensor unit(13,14) arranged at the discharge port of the body to detect information for one of temperature, humidity, and the amount of dust and gas in the air sucked into the body by the air suction fan.
