ENVELOPE AND PROCEDURE OF PRINTING CONFIDENTIAL CONTENT WITH A LASER PRINTER

The envelope and procedure of printing confidential content with a laser printer according to the invention solves the problem of simple and cost-effective printing of letters with confidential content as for example: PIN code for credit cards, PIN and PUK code for mobile phones, as well as all other numerical or symbol codes. Typical of the envelope is that on the base sheet (1) there is a rectangular cut-out (7) with added, almost triangular part and rounded corner, which shapes this part (1a). The rectangular part (1a), where the confidential content is located, contains a printed protective ornament (2). Across the whole surface of the protective ornament (2) there is a layer (3) of transparent colour with glue (4) on top of a transparent foil (5), which is of rectangular shape and matt finished on the upper side. Across the base sheet (1) there is an upper, standard shaped part of the envelope. Typical of the envelope printing procedure including confidential content is the fact that it is performed by using a laser printer and that prior printing there is a cut-out (7) made by a cutting tool on part (1a) of the base sheet (1). The ornament (2) is printed only across the rectangular part, while it has already been pre-printed with deep black colour. Across the complete protective ornament (2) area there is a layer (3) of transparent colour with transparent foil (5) glue (4) applied to it. The laser print (6) is applied with the set of figures or characters which the PIN and PUK codes consist of. The characters are printed with pixels of equal size, while the background of the digits is printed with larger or smaller pixels spread across the whole surface. Upon authorised opening of the envelope, part (1a) is torn across the perforated part, turned by 180 degrees and stuck to layer (4), where the confidential content is displayed.
