PURPOSE: A method for automatically controlling a mobile communication terminal is provided to enabling a mobile communication terminal to previously confirm whether a frequently used function is performed, and automatically perform the function if the function exists when a user wants to use the terminal by learning the terminal use habit of a user. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether previous learning data related to operation of a terminal exist in the case that a user operates the terminal. If so, a message asking whether a frequently used function is to be used according to the learned contents is output. According to a response of the user to the message, the corresponding function is automatically performed or the terminal is converted into a terminal use habit learning state. If not, the current terminal operation is learned.
