PURPOSE: An automated and computerized maintenance/inspection system for tracing/managing a maintenance/inspection work order, and a method thereof are provided to increase productivity and efficiency by unifying or linking at least two software modules in order to perform works interactively, and allow a user to perform the work for assets and complete a needed form. CONSTITUTION: A host server(101) comprises three software modules including a CMMS(Customized Maintenance Management System)(102), an EPSS(Electronic Performance Support System)(103), a VMS(Voice Messaging System)(104), and selectively includes an FMS(Form Management System)(105). A CMMS/FMS interface(106), an FMS/EPSS interface(107), an EPSS/VMS interface(108), a VMS/CMMS interface(109), and a CMMS/EPSS interface(110) allow each module to interactively communicate data between modules. A remote user configures/installs mobile computer client software in order to access all host system. |
