PURPOSE: A stand device with a bidirectional meandering control function of a return belt is provided to prevent meandering of the return belt by flexibly coping with movements of a normal direction and movements of a reverse direction of the return belt. CONSTITUTION: A stand device with a bidirectional meandering control function of a return belt(2) comprises a normally operating roll(4a-1) and a reversely operating roll(4b-1) having a pair of guides(4a-3,4b-3), an operating roll drive part, and a driving force transmission part. The normally operating roll and the reversely operating roll support the return belt of a belt conveyor from the lower part. The operating roll drive part comprises a seesaw base(10) connecting the lower center parts of stands of the normally operating roll and the reversely operating roll; an upper arm fixed to one end of a base shaft(10a-1) passing through the center parts; a link shaft passing through an axial center of a guide shaft guided by guide supports installed to the lower part of the seesaw base; and a lower arm movably fixed to a fixing rod(17) installed to the middle of the guide supports. The driving force transmission part comprises induction guides(16a,16b) formed to the sides of the guide shaft; ratchet gears(12a-2,12b-2) coupling to driving rolls(8a-1,8b-1) of a conveying belt(1) by driving belts(13a,13b); and push levers(12a-1,12b-1) fixed to central shafts of the ratchet gears to come in contact with the induction guides.
