PURPOSE: An inductor and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize process faults and failures by using a polymer film, and reduce the size and weight of an electronic component. CONSTITUTION: An inductor comprises an upper polymer tape and a lower substrate. The upper polymer tape includes a polymer film(1); a plurality of upper conductive layer patterns(5) spaced apart from each other on the polymer film; and a conductive contact plug(9) penetrating through the polymer film, underneath both ends of the upper conductive layer patterns. The lower substrate includes a substrate; and a plurality of lower conductive layer patterns(51) spaced apart from each other on the substrate. The lower conductive layer patterns and the upper conductive layer patterns are electrically connected with each other through the conductive contact plug.
