PURPOSE: A recording system and method for filtering multimedia data over TCP/IP and storing voice, image and text information are provided to remove a difference of record quality depending on processing capability of each terminal and a type of a sound process and provide high record quality. CONSTITUTION: When data(10) over a TCP/IP is transferred, a packet filtering module(150) analyzes the TCP/IP data and transfers image-related data(20) to an image data processing module(160), voice-related data(30) to a voice data processing module(170) and text data(40) to a text data processing module(180). After passing through the image processing module(160), the image information is classified into pure image information(50) and image-related information(80). The image information is stored in a file form(190) and the image-related information(80) is stored in a DB(220). After passing through the voice data processing module(170), the voice information is classified into voice data(60) and voice-related information(90). The voice is stored in a file form(200) and the voice-related information is stored in the DB(220). After passing through the text data processing module, the text information is classified into a text file(70) to be stored in a text file form(210) and text-related information(100) to be stored in the DB(220). A view/listener processing module(230) mixes the image, the voice and the text to a suitable form so that a user can view and listen to.
