PURPOSE: A video display method, a program executing the method and a video display device are provided to select a display mode of video data on the basis of obtained photographing information and change the display of the video data according to the selected display mode. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(112) display videos. A video data acquiring unit including a data video input unit(105) and a video processing unit(106) acquires video data. A photographing information acquiring unit including a tuner unit(101), a demultiplexer unit(102) and a video/audio decoder unit(103) acquires photographing information associated with the video data. A display type selecting unit including a remote controller(114) and a user input unit(111) selects a display type corresponding to photographing information. A display control unit(110) changes the display of the video data according to the selected display type.
