PURPOSE: A method and a system for writing/searching personal information in association with searched position information are provided to allow a user to easily search a place by checking personal information which has been written in map information. CONSTITUTION: A user is connected to a position information providing server through a user terminal(S10). The user inputs a search word of a specific position to be searched(S20). A map information providing unit outputs map information with respect to the position search word from a map information DB(S30). When the user checks the outputted map information and then writes personal information with respect to the map information(S40), personal information written by the user is stored in a corresponding ID field of a member information DB(S50).
