GOLF CLUB HEAD WHICH IS MADE OUT OF FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN AND HAS HOLLOWED HOUSING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A golf club head which is made out of a fiber-reinforced resin and has a hollowed housing structure is provided to easily design the center of gravity. CONSTITUTION: The golf club head(1) with a hollowed housing structure includes: a front surface body(10) which is made out of titanium based metal and consists of a face(2) and a front edge connected to the face; a sole(3) on which a sole plate extended forward and backward is arranged as a separate member from the front surface body(10). The other housing portion except the front surface body(10) and the sole(3) of the golf club head(1) is made out of a fiber-reinforced resin. The weight of the front surface body(10) is 20-70wt.% of that of the golf club head(1).
