PURPOSE: A device and a method for offering a micro-payment service using a chargeable prepayment card are provided to enable a user to repeatedly charge the prepayment card at a close convenience store, and receive diverse services by using the prepayment card. CONSTITUTION: Convenience store terminals(11-1¯11-n) transfer card information for a charged price with a barcode printed on the prepayment cards(10-1¯10-n). A convenience store central server(12) connects to the convenience store terminals and outputs an approval request signal for the charged price by using information received from the convenience store terminal. A card system outputs an approval result for the charged price to the convenience store central server, and updates settlement information for use particulars after storing the settlement information corresponding to the card information and providing the service corresponding to a service request of a prepayment card holder. The card system includes a chargeable prepayment card provider server(13), a chargeable prepayment card settlement server(14), and a chargeable prepayment card service providing server(15). |
