PURPOSE: A method of making rice containing herbal components of gagamhyeonkitang which is described in the book of Eastern Medicare by soaking rice in the herbal extract and then drying is provided. The product has treatment effect on hypertension and complications associated with hypertension. CONSTITUTION: Herbs containing 80g of Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, 40g of Moutan Cortex Radicis, 40g of Hoelen, 40g of Corni Fructus, 40g of Fructus Schizandrae, 40g of Alismatis Rhizoma, 40g of Cervi Parvum Cornu, 40g of Rhizoma Dioscoreae, 20g of Cinnamomi Cortex and 20g of Aquilaria agallocha are mixed with 5L of water and extracted at 100deg.C for 4hr. Then, rice is soaked in the herbal extract while turning upside down every 2hr and then dried for a predetermined period of time.
