PURPOSE: To provide a barrel plating apparatus comprising a plating barrel on the wall of which micro-sized permeable holes and slits are formed, and a drain device for draining a plating liquid staying in the plating barrel, wherein the plating barrel is made of porous plastics having permeable holes and slits facing the plating liquid in such a way that any piece materials to be plated are not fallen off from the plating barrel. CONSTITUTION: The plating barrel is made of a molded porous plastics to contain piece materials to be plated. The barrel plating apparatus(1) comprises a plating barrel(10) made of a molded porous plastics to contain piece materials to be plated(T); and a rotation driving mechanism(40) for rotating the plating barrel as a rotation symmetrical shaft of the plating barrel, wherein the barrel plating apparatus further comprises a cathode(70) electrically contacted with the piece materials to be plated; and an anode(60) formed on the inner side of the plating barrel. The drain device for draining a plating liquid(L) staying in the plating barrel comprises a barrel holding implement(20) for holding the plating barrel; and an outlet connected to the barrel holding implement, wherein a liquid staying on the barrel holding implement is sucked by a suction means.
