PURPOSE: A method for recording broadcasting programs of the same time zone in a PVR(Personal Video Recorder) system is provided to reserve and record desired all broadcasting programs by reserving and recording a broadcasting program, which is not rebroadcasted, in a real broadcasting time and reserving and recording a broadcasting program, which is rebroadcasted, in a rebroadcasted time. CONSTITUTION: If the power of a PVR system is turned on(S10), a CPU judges whether the reservation record of at least two or more programs is selected in the same time zone(S12). If the reservation record is selected in the same time zone, the CPU retrieves whether reservation record broadcasting programs are rebroadcasted from program guide data(S16). If at least two or more broadcasting programs are broadcasted, the CPU records one of the broadcasting programs in a real broadcasting time and records the other broadcasting programs in a rebroadcasting time(S18). If one of the broadcasting programs is actually broadcasted and the other programs are rebroadcasted, the CPU records the broadcasting program, which is not rebroadcasted, in a real broadcasting time and records the broadcasting program, which is rebroadcasted, in a rebroadcasting time(S22). If at least two or more broadcasting programs are not rebroadcasted, the CPU outputs a guide warning message(S30). The CPU receives a signal indicating whether a user selects the record of a certain broadcasting program among reserved broadcasting programs, and records the broadcasting program selected by the user(S32).
