PURPOSE: A method for processing a rescue request signal of a communication terminal is provided to easily rescue a victim by actively utilizing information managed by a communication network by requesting rescue in a situation that the victim can not speak. CONSTITUTION: If a rescue request key is inputted, rescue request methods are displayed(301,303). If SMS(Short Message Service) transmission is selected from the rescue request methods, an SMS input screen is displayed(305,307). If an SMS sentence is inputted, a special character input screen displaying rescue request is displayed. If a telephone number of a rescue center is inputted, a short message having the SMS sentence as contents and the inputted special character as a telephone number of a receiver is generated(311,313). If stream transmission is selected among the rescue request methods, a special character to each rescue center is displayed(331,333). If one of the rescue center is selected, the selected special character is displayed(315,317,319). If a send key is inputted, origination is performed to the special character(339,341).
