PURPOSE: A joint structure and an insulating spacer are provided to pass a large amount of current without causing heating, and eliminate the need of increasing cross section area of a center conductor. CONSTITUTION: A joint structure comprises an insulating spacer(1) having a center conductor(3); a superconducting cable(8); and a conductor connection member(4) having an end(7) and the other end(11). The end(7) of the conductor connection member has a sleeve shape, and is connected to the center conductor. The other end(11) of the conductor connection member has a sleeve shape, and is connected to the superconducting cable. The center conductor of the insulating spacer and the conductor connection member are connected through a multi-contact.
