<p>A cell (4) has a compressed gas supply (6) with provision to measure the internal water content. Microbiological inoculations are deposited on slides and placed on supports (2). A capacity (1) contains a water absorbent, and is connected to the cell. The cell is heated in a thermostatic water bath, and includes temperature and pressure measurement (5, 8). The absorbent is silica gel, alumina or a molecular sieve. Of the two supports (2, 2') provided, one carries a clean, blank slide. Its analysis subsequently establishes whether microorganisms have been transmitted to it, from the other support. Real-time data acquisition is provided for functional characteristics of the cell.</p> |
