<p>Pipe bend for handling powdery or granular material is of reticulated unfoamed polyurethane. A ring of metal or hard plastic can be fitted on or cast in the pipe material near each flanged end, and the wall thickness on the outside of the bend can be greater than on the inside. There canbe a number of holes in the ring, spaced round the periphery. At ne end of the ring can protrude from te joint face, while at the other it is set back from this face for an equal amt.</p> |
