<p>The furniture section consists of an open-work panel (1, 2) formed by several parallel slats (3, 4) spaced at regular stances apart from each other, the width of the slats of the similar section which it is assembled. The slats are held by at least two cross-pieces (5) which are recessed behind the slats. The slats and cross-pieces are assembled by tenon and mortise joints. Each tenon has a groove at right angles to the section. The cross-pieces have slots (6), into which the lengthwise pieces are inserted.</p> |
