PURPOSE: A method and a system for loading bit in a wireless communication system are provided to exclude prediction as to noise components which is difficultly detected beforehand and to remove a complicated operation so that an efficient bit loading method can be used. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(160) controls bit loading operation, and the start and the end of the bit loading operation after terminating channel estimation. An input value deciding unit(110) calculates 1/(H_k) with the estimated channel information, wherein H_k indicates signal power. A memory device(120) stores the 1/(H_k). A bit loading calculating unit(170) receives the 1/(H_k)and calculates the number of bits to be assigned to each sub-carrier in a state that noise components are removed. The bit loading calculating unit(170) assigns the optimum number of bits to each sub-channel by using a result of calculation.
