PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for automatically controlling gap between deming rolls of strip cleaning facility to improve strip moisture removing power during a normal operation and promptly perform an abnormal operation of leading strip in the facility by maintaining gap between upper and lower deming rolls constantly and adjustably, thereby constantly maintaining up and down and left and right side horizons of the deming rolls. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for adjusting a gap between deming rolls for removing moisture in a strip cleaning facility, the apparatus comprises a pair of upper and lower deming rolls(17a,17b) supported to each other by expansion springs(14) with roll shafts(16a,16b) of the upper and lower deming rolls being inserted into guides(15) of shaft fixing blocks(13a,13b) that are fixed to both sides of a discharge part of the strip cleaning facility; S type operation frames(20a,20b) on the inner surface of which rack gears are formed, and a central part of which is movably fixed to an inner side surface part of the shaft fixing blocks such that the S type operation frames are gear connected to pinion gears(18a,18b) inserted and fixed to both sides of the roll shafts of the upper and lower deming rolls; operation levers(19a,19b) fixed to a central part of the S type operation frames; and a driving cylinder(11) axially fixed to a central part of a connection base(40) for fixing the operation levers by connecting the operation levers to each other.
