摘要

PURPOSE: A multi-channel optical switch is provided to perform optical communication between optical waveguides by reducing an interval between input/output ports of the optical waveguides. CONSTITUTION: A multi-channel optical switch includes a plurality of input/output optical waveguides, a plurality of mirrors, and a mirror driver. The input/output optical waveguides includes input optical waveguides and output waveguides parallel to the input waveguides. The mirrors(311,312) which is installed between the input/output optical waveguides proceeds or retreats in direction of an optical path between optical waveguides. The mirror driver is used for driving selectively the mirrors.
