PURPOSE: An X-box for a navigation system is provided to improve convenience by providing a user-selected mode as well as video and audio signals through a command control unit when a vehicle runs. CONSTITUTION: Map data(video) and audio data(audio) of a navigation unit(11) are outputted through an X-box(12). The X-box receives a control signal(control) from a command control unit(13) to output a color signal(R/G/B) of the map data, a synchronizing signal(sync), and the audio data from the navigation unit. The command control unit selects one of a telephone function, a navigation function, a radio function, a CD(Compact Disk) player function, and a television function. The command control unit receives a color signal(R/G/B) and a synchronizing signal of a television broadcasting signal to a signal(can) of a CAN protocol. The command control unit selectively displays on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(15) the map data or the television broadcasting signal transmitted from the navigation unit. The audio data is outputted through a speaker(16).
