PURPOSE: A device for preventing loss of a mobile phone is provided to prevent the mobile phone from being lost or left at home by generating an alarm sound. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter(316) is mounted at a mobile phone(300) for transmitting a predetermined wireless signal including identifier information while acting as a power source of the mobile phone(300). A buzzer(326) generates an alarm sound. A receiver(321) decodes the wireless signal received from the transmitter(316) for judging whether the receiving identifier information corresponds to set identifier information, and comparing a signal level with a predetermined signal level. If the signal level is lower than the reference level, the receiver(321) operates the buzzer(326). If the mobile phone(300) having the transmitter(316) is separated from a monitoring device having the receiver(321) and the buzzer(326) more than certain distance, the alarm sound is generated to prevent the mobile phone(300) from being lost.
