PURPOSE: A rotor structure is provided to improve synchronization performance of a motor by reducing a secondary resistance of a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A rotor structure comprises a stacked core(101), magnets, a magnet support plate, a lower end ring(105), an upper end ring(104), and a magnet escape preventing wedge(107). The stacked core has a shaft hole(101a) formed at a center thereof, and magnet insertion holes formed along the periphery of the shaft hole. The magnets are inserted in the respective magnet insertion holes so as to generate magnet flux. The magnet support plate is arranged to tightly contact a bottom surface of the stacked core such that the magnet support plate prevents the magnets from being escaped downward. The lower end ring is made of a conductive material and arranged beneath the stacked core, such that the lower end ring closes lower openings of magnet insertion holes. The upper end ring is made of a conductive material and arranged on a top of the stacked core, such that the upper end ring closes upper openings of magnet insertion holes. The upper end ring has a shape same as that of the lower end ring. The magnet escape preventing wedge is coupled into a wedge coupling hole(104a) which is formed at the upper end ring and communicated to the magnet insertion holes.
