METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING VALVE SEAT OF BUTTERFLY VALVE

PURPOSE: A method and a device for manufacturing a valve seat of a butterfly valve are provided to simply process an inclined face on a valve seat by linearly moving a cutter from the upper portion of the valve seat after rotating the valve seat in the fixed state. CONSTITUTION: A valve seat(20) is fitted in jaws(40) fixed on a rotating member(30). The rotating member is rotated by the power transmitted from a power source. The jaws are installed on the rotating member to make the jaws forward and backward move toward the center of the rotating member. The seat is placed on the jaws and fastened by fastening screws(41). The jaws have inclined faces(42). The inclined faces are processed while the seat is placed in the inclined state. A cutter(50) is moved linearly from the upper portion of the rotating member to the lower portion of the rotating member to process the inclined faces.
