<p>Plastics materials are moulded by continuous extrusion against the surface of a rotating wheel supporting a series of individual moulds closely spaced around its perimeter. The wheel and the tools are grooved so that successive mouldings are linked by a continuous web or strands of extrudate which can serve as a carrier for the mouldings until they are well clear of the moulding machine. Suitable for mfr. of small mouldings of similar or differing forms, opt. incorporating inserts, e.g. for electrical fittings.</p> |
