PURPOSE: A connecting method for segmental prestressed preflex steel composite beams is provided to reduce the period and cost of a field work by connecting segmental prestressed preflex steel composite beams in a construction site and to construct a bridge economically by manufacturing a long-span steel composite beam in a factory. CONSTITUTION: The connecting method for segmental prestressed preflex steel composite beams comprises the steps of: after assembling segmental steel beams in a factory, applying preflexion load; manufacturing a steel composite beam applied with primary prestress by forming lower flange concrete(300) except a segment and removing the preflexion load while installing a tension member(200) to be buried under casing concrete around a lower flange of one or more intermediated steel beams except segmental steel beams or without forming a tension member(200) on lower flange concrete; forming a concrete upper structure of a bridge and connecting segments by carrying segmental steel composite beams(400b) in a construction site, then assembling; and applying secondary prestress on the steel composite beam by tensing and anchoring the tension member(200) on the steel composite beam.
