STEERING COLUMN COVER WHICH DOES NOT DISTURB SLIDING OF A STEERING COLUMN IN A COLLISION WITH A LOWER COVER SEPARATED FROM A BODY AND A STEERING COLUMN

PURPOSE: A steering column cover without disturbing a sliding motion of a steering column is provided to slide the steering column toward a front side of a vehicle body and to disperse shock applied on the chest of a driver by rotating and inserting a lower cover in a body after separating the lower cover from the body and the steering column and securing a moving space for the body. CONSTITUTION: A steering column cover(30) installed at the upper part of a lower crash pad(40) to cover a steering column(20) of a vehicle is composed of a body(35) fixed and connected to the steering column by a boss(32) and a lower cover(36) partially fastened and linked to the steering column with facing the lower crash pad. The lower cover comprises an upper connection part(361) detachably adhered with the body; a lower connection part(362) hinge-combined to the body; and a projection unit(363) protruded inward and connected to the outside of the steering column.
