PURPOSE: An energy management system for developing energy saving through replacement, a method thereof, and a device for offering recommended energy saving device information are provided to realize/promote the energy saving of the home appliances. CONSTITUTION: A device information obtaining tool(210) obtains device information for a use situation of the device. An energy saving device information database(190) stores the energy saving device information for performance of energy saving devices having better energy consumption efficiency than the used device. A recommended energy saving device information selecting tool(214) selects a recommended energy saving device according to the use situation based on the energy saving device information and the device information, and makes the recommended energy saving device information for the selected device. A display tool(130) displays the recommended energy saving device information.
