PURPOSE: A method for automatically deleting a schedule and a terminal for providing the function for the method are provided to prevent the waste of a memory of the terminal caused due to unnecessary schedules by automatically deleting schedules registered before an automatic schedule deletion period set by a user. CONSTITUTION: A schedule input unit(10) receives schedules and an automatic schedule deletion period. If an automatic schedule deletion function is set up, a schedule processing unit(20) deletes schedules registered before the automatic schedule deletion period from a memory. When a schedule is received from another terminal, the schedule processing unit(20) deletes the schedule according to the second automatic schedule deletion period from the memory.
