ELECTRIC HOME APPLIANCE NETWORK SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME, PARTICULARLY REGARDING TO PREVENTING CONFUSION/COLLISION WITH OTHER NETWORKS

PURPOSE: An electric home appliance network system, and a method for operating the same are provided to prevent confusion/collision with other networks by automatically performing a collision detection algorithm of a house address, thereby improving the stability and the reliability of a network system. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of electric home appliances(A1'-A3') are connected with a network constructed for electric home appliances networking so that the electric home appliances(A1'-A3') can transmit and receive data. A network master(NM_A') detects collision of a house address formed not to generate network collision with a neighboring network, and has algorithm automatically changing the house address when the collision is detected. The network master(NM_A') includes serial numbers of the plurality of electric home appliances(A1'-A3') connected through the network.
