PURPOSE: A device for automatically changing an OSD(On Screen Display) position using motion is provided to automatically move an OSD character position to a place in which the motion of an object does not exist when an OSD character is displayed on the motion position of the object. CONSTITUTION: A recording/reproducing microcomputer(10) provides OSD character information corresponding to video and audio information to a specific region when various video and audio information photographed through a camera(A) is recorded and reproduced. The recording/reproducing microcomputer provides an OSD character movement command when the motion of an object occurs in the specific region. If the OSD character movement command is provided from the recording/reproducing microcomputer, an OSD position change microcomputer(30) performs a control operation to automatically move OSD character information to a next region in a certain region among the other regions except for the specific region. A monitor(20) outputs OSD character information provided from the recording/reproducing microcomputer to the specific region, and outputs OSD character information to the next region of the specific region according to the control of the OSD position change microcomputer.
