The box comprises a seat (10) pivotally connected to two holders and containing ribs (18) for engaging with grooves (31) in the second holder (30). Bores (32) for holding screwdriver bits (50) are provided in the second holder and when the latter is opened, the bits are pushed out of these bores by the ribs. The first holder (20) has a bore (21) extending through it which is aligned with a hexagonal hole (16) in the seat when the holder is closed, so that the screwdriver shaft (40) can be inserted into it.
