UNIVERSAL LICENSE PLATE HOLDER

A license plate holder for a vehicle which holds license plates of differe nt dimensions. The holder includes a support member having a plurality of first apertures each adapted to receive a plate retaining means and a plurality of second aperture each adapted to receive a mounting means. The first set of aperture s are arranged in a plurality of sets, each set being adapted to correspond to the configuration of retaining locations on license plates of a particular dimension. The holder may also include a secondary member which attaches above or bel ow the support which can be used to matter such as an advertisement.
